I think either you or the other person are getting game versions confused. If you're on SE or AE and the armor mod is SE or AE, you'll want to use Faster SMP. The original HDT SMP is entirely obsolete and HDT PE is for Oldrim. The folks you are talking about must be using SE/AE ports of the Team TAL armor.

When the mod "Faster HDT-SMP 1.6.353 dlls" is installed via Vortex etc, the DLL files is placed in the wrong folder and it causes the game to load older dll versions, and move files manually. This mod makes it automatically correct. Most likely causes: wrong version of FSMP installed, the game or modding tools installed under Program Files, or antivirus interfering.
